Tickets can be purchased online or from your local agent starting 90 days from travel date. Seats may be in short supply so book at the earliest possible "hour / minute".

Group bookings of 15 or more can be made at any time up to 90 days before travel. Group booking approval is not automatic. Success depends on availability. To initiate a group booking email groupbooking@transwa.wa.gov.au stating travel dates, numbers and a contact. If using the online form follow up with a phone call ( (08) 9326 3270).

Group bookings can only be assigned to 50% of available seats. That leaves half the seats for individual sales.

Concessions are available. "Services Australia Pensioner Concession, DVA Pensioner Concession and DVA Gold Card cardholders, who are Western Australian residents" should register their card with TransWA. Other concessions may be available. Check with TransWA.

The standard Prospector carries 110 passengers.

The maximum capacities appears to be 220.

QANTAS and Virgin offer daily flights to Kalgoorlie. Expect to pay between $640 and $718 return.

There are several coach charter companies in Perth. Expect to pay up to $200 per seat. The price includes a driver.

Hire a self drive mini or midi bus. There are many mini bus hire companies in Perth. Expect to pay up to $120 per seat. 12 seat mini buses only require a standard licensed driver while 22/25 seaters require an MR License. If you have access to a driver with heavy vehicle experience, then large coach hires are also available.
